These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of avnspices.com (the "Website") and any purchase of goods from it. By browsing the Website, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

1. Who we are

The Website is operated by AVN Spices Private Limited ("AVN Spices", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in India in 2013 and engaged in the processing, packing and export of spices supplying dry red chillies, whole spices and ground powders. We sell retail packs within India and bulk consignments to overseas buyers on separate commercial terms.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
• If you are under 18, you may use the Website only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts responsibility for the order.
• You confirm that the delivery, contact and payment details you provide are accurate and belong to you or are used with authorisation.

3. Products, descriptions and pricing

• Spices are natural agricultural produce. Colour, size, heat level, aroma and moisture vary between harvests, regions and lots. Photographs on the Website are indicative and not an exact representation of the goods you receive.
• Grade names (for example Teja / S17, Byadagi 355, Guntur Sannam) describe trade varieties, not guaranteed measurements of pungency or colour value, unless we have issued a written specification for your order.
• All retail prices are in Indian Rupees and, where stated, inclusive of applicable taxes. Prices, offers and product availability may change without notice.
• Net quantity refers to the weight at the time of packing. Minor variation may occur through natural drying or settling in transit.

Pricing errors

Despite reasonable care, a product may occasionally be listed at an incorrect price. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered, we will contact you and give you the choice of confirming the order at the correct price or cancelling it for a full refund. We are not obliged to supply goods at an incorrect price.

4. Orders and acceptance

• Your order is an offer to purchase. A contract is formed only when we despatch the goods or expressly confirm acceptance — not when payment is taken.
• We may decline or cancel an order, in whole or in part, where stock is unavailable, the delivery address is outside our serviceable area, a pricing or listing error has occurred, or we reasonably suspect fraudulent or abusive activity.
• Where we cancel a prepaid order, the amount is refunded in full to the original payment method.

5. Payments

• Online payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. Card, UPI, netbanking and wallet details are entered on the payment provider's own secure interface. AVN Spices does not receive, process or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or netbanking credentials.
• Where offered, Cash on Delivery requires payment in full to the courier at the time of delivery.
• If a payment is debited but your order is not confirmed, the amount is normally reversed by your bank or payment provider within 5 to 7 working days. Contact us with the transaction reference if it does not appear.
• Coupons and promotional codes are subject to their own conditions, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may be withdrawn at any time.

6. Food safety, storage and use

• Our products are food items intended for culinary use. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture, in an airtight container once opened.
• Follow the "best before" date and any storage instruction on the pack. Improper storage is the most common cause of caking, loss of aroma and spoilage.
• Products may contain or be processed alongside other spices. If you have a known allergy or sensitivity, check with us before ordering.
• Nothing on the Website is medical or nutritional advice. Statements about the traditional culinary use of a spice are not claims to prevent, treat or cure any condition.

7. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account.
• Tell us promptly at info@avnspices.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.
• We may suspend or close an account that is used for fraudulent, abusive or unlawful activity, or that repeatedly refuses delivery of prepaid or Cash on Delivery orders.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Website for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of any applicable law or regulation;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its servers, databases or any account that is not yours;
• introduce malicious code, or interfere with the normal operation of the Website;
• extract, scrape or systematically copy content, product data or images for commercial use;
• resell or misrepresent our products as your own without written authorisation.

9. Intellectual property

The AVN Spices name, logo, product photography, written content and site design are owned by us or licensed to us, and are protected by Indian and international intellectual property law. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Any other reproduction, distribution or commercial use requires our prior written consent.

10. Export and bulk enquiries

Bulk and export transactions are handled separately from retail orders on the Website. Quantities, specifications, packaging, Incoterms, inspection, documentation and payment terms are agreed in writing for each consignment, and those terms prevail over these Terms to the extent of any conflict. A quotation is an invitation to treat and does not by itself create a binding contract of sale.

11. Third-party links and services

The Website may link to or rely on third-party services, including payment providers, courier partners and analytics tools. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of third parties, and their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of their services.

12. Limitation of liability

• To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, business or goodwill.
• We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, crop failure, epidemics, strikes, transport disruption, regulatory action or civil unrest.
• Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or expense arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Website, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment you place an order governs that order. The "last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the current version took effect.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your rights under consumer protection law to approach a consumer forum in your own district, the courts at Guntur, Andhra Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms.
